Mizuno Mt Faber Run

i don't know when exactly i found passion in running.. previously, and i m quite sure in 2007, i still hated running. i am always quite active in sports since secondary school days, from swimming, hiking, brisk walking, cycling to diving.. running was always my last alternative. Now, not only i found joy in running, i think i m addicted in joining all the competitive races!

hmmmm.. maybe i can describe running as Cinderalla? and i m the handsome prince. Cinderalla loses her glass slippers and when the prince finds her and then falls in love with her.. OMG sounds so odd. ok forget it..

Let's recall my run last Sunday morning. It's interesting to join another run which i've never tried the route before. ok, below is the pic of the race route for me to remember

well, it's a 10km race just like sundown. but it's actually a lot more challenging becoz the routes were rather hilly. so i predict my timing will not be better than sundown. Long-distance races can really train our minds to be stronger. of coz physically too. It's also a race between your mind and your body. If your mind is stronger than your body, (and with proper training) you can definitely complete the race with good timing. I stopped a few time especially when it's uphill.. i tot if i dun stop i'll be out of breath..yea such a procrastinator..

managed to take just 3 photos during the run.

look who's the one in blue hehe. she wont know coz she dun have me blog :D

i quite like the whole journey especially the Mount Faber park area. it's very scenic! the organiser could not close the affected roads but they engaged some traffic police men to control the moving vehicals. so when the cars passed us the air wasn't very fresh lo...but they provided sufficient water supply to the runners with 3 water points. not too bad.

after the run, me & lynn went to have our 2nd round breakfast at Mc D with another fren who took part too. He clocked a fantastic 56min.

Later part of the day was very much like having another race. How shud i call it? the MCC amazing race (me so creative huh? hee...) coz Ms Naughthy forgot to bring her keys and was locked outside her house. I rushed to city hall just to meet up with her housemate (who walked from the crowded PC fair at suntec to pass me the keys). When i reached Toa Payoh, it's already 10min to 4pm. we would be really late for our usual step class which is at 4. and I was perspiring all the way. amazing! when we reached cali it's already 4:20.. gosh.. got in the class looked at the clock showing at 4:25pm. what a record!

when my fren knew i went to gym after the run, he said i was powered by energizer. i was thinking hmmmm.. maybe huh
