the ending of 2010 the beginning of 2011

Time flies. today is the last day of the tiger year. and i feel i have not done much during the year except for i've finally tried my first marathon! It's time to self reflect again and rediscover the strength n faith within me in order to gear up for another new year!

married life vs single life

Being married to me, means you have a special someone to share your everyday life with. you dun have to impress ur luv one by looking perfect or acting perfect all the time. you are comfortable with each other n care for each other in many ways. when u marry the right person, u call he/she ur soulmate. your time is no longer just your time. your time has to be shared between u and ur soulmate. you are committed to each other. and of coz spending time together is supposed to be one of the happiest moment besides spending ur own quality time by urself/ with frens.

Being single to me, means you have the luxury of freedom in living your own life, whether you wan it simple, busy, lazy, challenging or meaningful in your own context. you can spend quality time doing things that you like, spending time with your family and frens. you set your priorities and you live with it with no regrets. you may get some stress from the society becoz being single is not the norm when u reach certain age. you just have to learn how to handle/face it lightly.

you have to be prepared to get mean comments eg. "is there something wrong w him/her? he/she is oredi 37 but not married yet" "eee.... so old who the hell will ever want him/her?" "you re single & ur life is boring" "married life is more interesting"
this is nothing if you know how to take ignorant comments lightly and try to have a more forgiving heart.

to me, whether you re married or single, you need to have an objective in life and lead the life that will make you happy.

i wish ppl around me can be more kind with their words coz mean words can be hurtful especially when it's coming out from someone close..

My Guts vs My Brains

I always have guts to do some unusual things b'coz most of the time i think too highly of myself in handling the consequences after tat. well.. tat's just me.

wow.. realised i havent posted for more than a month!

when i stepped out this morning, it was bright n shine.. then when we were doing step class half way it started pouring..

weather is really unstable & strange today.. i wonder if it's because of the sad incident happened yesterday at step class??

distorted sunday routine

my routine was a bit unusual this sun coz went for a morning run at botanical garden. it's really a nice place to run. i hope i can do more runs there soon :) after tat went for a 30min spinning coz according to my gym mates spinning is good for relaxing the leg muscle after runs. i was rushing like mad after e spinning coz i need to dress up a lil for my frens' wedding lunch.. pheew.. i managed to rush back to gym for my usual step class.. haha..
