one of the encounters that i couldn't stand when i first started working in sg was when ppl closed the lift door even if they saw you walking towards the lift. at that point of time, my feeling was.. Y are these ppl so mean??! some you could see them pressing the 'close' button 10 over times repeatedly as if the lift door would close faster before you could get in. i was thinking, so this is the culture they practice?! in this so called "civilised" country?
today, i think i just did the same to a lady. i dunno wat i was thinking.. i got in the lift, pressed 4, saw a lady walking up the staircase, i pressed the 'close' button. so, if ever anyone said i m a kind/nice person. i dun think they have updated themselves with the latest info about me. i m no longeeer kind. i m a wicked witch

6.2km run 7feb09
this was a non-competitive run tat took us a 6.2km route through the Night Safari & Singapore Zoo yesterday. According to the organiser, it's also to commemorate the late Singapore Zoo icon, Ah Meng. (who died on the 8 Feb 08).
initially i tot it's going to be a unique n fun run coz the location itself was special! maybe i expected too much.. think it's a bit disappointed.. the route was so congested.. and they let the visitors walked around blocking the runners.. some participants especially lovers/couples were holding hands, strolling in the middle of the narrow road! (wan2 paktoh pls go somewhere else la, Y join the run???) ok, maybe i was plain jealous haha..(lynn said tat when i complained to her about all these and tat i felt a bit lonely in this run, not any other run) she said i was having PMS.. yea, n she left me alone and ran with her eileen goodfren..evryone was like running with their family, saw kids holding their parents hands running; one parent-child team was using a small towel to keep each other at the same pace.. so cute
clocked a bad 38:30 for this run. and my right leg hurts badly after tat. the distance was only 6.2km but i felt so difficult especially the last 1km. there were some upslope and downslopes but still not too bad.. mostly still flat routes.
overall i think i enjoyed the chilling ice milo the most after the run. queued for 2-3 cups coz it's FREE!
